Climate Change & Action

As per the worldwide climate index, Pakistan ranks 8th among the most vulnerable countries in terms of climate-related challenges. The NCCP program focus on to educate and inform church communities and the broader public about the impacts of climate change on Pakistan’s environment and society.

Encourage the adoption of eco-friendly practices within church operations and among congregations, such as energy conservation, tree planting, and waste reduction.

Lobby for stronger environmental policies and regulations at the national level that aim to reduce carbon emissions and protect natural resources. Develop and implement community base adaptation strategies to enhance the resilience for vulnerable populations to climate-related hazards.
