The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP), the country's apex human rights body, has released a fact-finding report that sheds light on the disturbing events in Mujahid Colony, Sargodha on 25th May 2024.

Dr. Mathews George Chunakara, The General Secretary of the Christian Conference of Asia (CCA), has written a letter to the President of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari, urging immediate action against those responsible for orchestrating violence against Christians in the country.

In response to the news of the brutal attack on Mr Nazir Masih, and the subsequent destruction of homes and businesses owned by the local Christian community in Sargodha, Rev. Prof. Dr Jerry Pillay, general secretary of the World Council of Churches issued a following statement:
