National Council of Churches - Pakistan is the united expression of the Protestant and Anglican churches in Pakistan . It is a common platform for thought and action, by bringing together the Churches and other Christian organizations for mutual consultation, assistance and action in all matters related to life and witness.
It represents Christian people throughout the country. Ever since its inception the Council and its members are actively engaged in the work of nation building. It is an Inter confessional autonomous Council which embraces, promotes and coordinates the various forms of the church's ministry for the people including the churches and Christian organizations such as Pakistan Bible Society (PBS), Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA), Young Women's Christian Association (YWCA), Pakistan Christian Blind Society, Student's Christian Movement of Pakistan, Technical Services Association, Campus Crusade for Christ, Christian Study Center, Church World Service-Pakistan, Adult Basic Education Society (Gujranwala), Institute for Basic Adult Development And Training (IBADAT) and Gujranwala Theological Seminary (GTS).
